General Manager of Human Resources in Shared Services

We are looking for a General Manager of Human Resources (HR) in Shared Services to join our HR team and oversee the HR operations and strategy for our group companies.

Overview
  • Our HR shared services function plays a central role in supporting our extensive workforce, enabling efficient and effective delivery of HR services across our organization.
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and programs that align with our business objectives and values, and support the growth and development of our shared services employees.
  • You will also lead the HR transformation and digitalization initiatives, ensuring that our HR systems and processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with the latest best practices and regulations.
  • You will report directly to the Head of Human Resources and manage the HR team.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the HR strategy and vision for the shared services division, in alignment with the Group HR strategy and the business goals.
  • Lead and manage the HR function, including talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, diversity, equity and inclusion, and HR analytics.
  • Strengthen and standardize company HR policies, process and activities across all group companies. Ensure that the HR policies and programs are compliant with the local and global laws and regulations, and reflect the best practices and industry standards.
  • Drive the HR transformation and digitalization projects, leveraging the latest HR technologies and tools to enhance the employee experience and the HR efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the senior management, the business leaders, and the employees, and act as a trusted advisor and partner on all HR matters.
  • Manage the HR budget and resources, and ensure the optimal allocation and utilization of the HR resources.
  • Drive talent management initiatives for critical leadership positions and develop talent readiness and transition strategies.
  • Develop and mentor the HR team, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the HR function.
  • Support the Head of Human Resources for global and regional HR initiatives when required, and take on additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the Company.
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in management role, with at least 2 years in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in a shared services or a multinational environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies and programs that support the business objectives and the employee engagement.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in HR transformation and digitalization, and familiarity with the latest HR technologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing HR team.
  • Highly analytical, strategic, and results-oriented, with a strong business acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, with a willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Candidate will less experience will be considered as Deputy General Manager.
