In support of the Hong Kong Government’s policy to reduce carbon intensity and increase the proportion of natural gas used for power generation, an offshore LNG import terminal in Hong Kong has been constructed and operated in 2023. MOL FSRU Terminal (Hong Kong) Limited provides operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the Offshore jetty platform. The Jetty O&M team consists of an onshore team and an offshore team of Supervisors and Operators.

What will be your role?
Running a safe, effective, and efficient day-to-day operation of the Hong Kong Offshore LNG Terminal facility, implementing operational plans, and auditing their application to optimize facility operation in line with HK LNG performance criteria.
Your required capabilities and characteristics:
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Diploma or above in process, operation or other relevant technical engineering discipline
- Minimum 5 years operation experience in Oil & Gas, LNG terminal/LNG FSRU/FLNG/ regasification plant etc.
- With knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements will be an advantage

Safety, Health, Environment & Quality
- Ensures compliance with company SHEQ policies during assigned shifts
- Safeguards team members to adopt exemplary SHEQ behaviors
Operational Excellence
- Act as Panel Control Operator or Field Operator;
- Follow-up and/or executes the planned operational activities in the facilities during assigned shift whilst maintaining good communications with involved staff;
- Support FSRU and LNG carrier from arrival to departure; assists FSRU/LNG carrier in the LNG arms and HP gas arms connection/disconnection;
- Carry out minor inspections and maintenance works;
- Support all jetty activities related to contractor’s participation;
- Solve routine and less routine problems with consequences for equipment, processes, the environment, and/or safety; calling the shift supervisor in case of doubt or an unavoidable malfunction;
- Provide guidance, instruction, and direction to contractors/technicians; and provides feedback on performance;
- Complete all documentation to support the management of change procedure for plant modifications.
Training & Development
- Update the work operating and safety procedures to improve effectiveness, and contribute to the development and implementation of learning and development programs.
- Attend all training courses as required in order to perform the operation, maintenance, safety-related activities, or staff development.
Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
